"My mom has been a regular here for quite sometime. This is literally her favorite diner to frequent. We came in a party of 7 for my mom's birthday during breakfast service. We ordered our food and waited over an hour and have every single person who came after us served before us. Noone at our table ordered anything extensive, all simple egg/toast/breakfast sandwich meals. We were not once asked if we would like refills on our drinks or anything. After every other person who came after us was served their food my mom.went up and asked why we haven't been served yet. They said they were backed up but it was coming soon. We waited an additional 10 minutes and had another table served when we walked out. We have NEVER had this experience there before and found it very odd. The young lady who was taking care of us checked in one time over the course of an hour to say the food was coming. I have never ever walked out of a restaurant before and didn't even feel bad. I'm not sure what happend today but maybe the staff needs to be better equiped for larger party's."

"A great little classic diner with very good food and excellent , friendly service. Had a great burger and the best , freshly made onion rings I have ever had ."

"Not sure where the hype comes from, it's a beautiful spot but nothing outstanding. Not bad, not great. I will say I got the "Irish" Benedict and it was extremely dry, not sure where the hollandaise disappeared to.. we got 1 Irish Benny, 1 western meal, 2 short stacks of Reece's & butterfinger pancakes and a side of bacon (that was forgotten in the order) came to $56!! The menu online for Maa's must be very outdated (even though it says 'updated 2025') because the prices did not match up. This is our second visit, unfortunately I don't think we'll be back. Wasn't memorable, but the pancakes did have a great flavor, wasn't bland like most restaurants!"

"Classic little diner, we loved the small vibe and classic decorations. The food was fantastic, and coffee never ran out. Recommended for a quick breakfast "

"Have been eating here since I discovered this hidden spot 2-3 years ago. Best secret place for great home made food, best service, and relaxed atmosphere. Open all day, brkf, lunch, dinner, dessert. They have fresh roasted turkey dinner all day. Their strawberry shortcake is fresh baked cakes with toppings, served warm from the oven with ice cream & whipped cream. New definition for shortcake. Prices are cheap!!! Servings are huge. Service is A+. Located across from the Webster movie theater on Empire. Do a "treasure hunt" and go find it! You will win!"

"Classic diner experience. I had a ranchero burger (daily special) with a side of onion rings, and the onion rings are great with their ranch! We also had the Philly steak quesadilla which was ok, but a bit greasy. Waitress was very attentive, and did a great job. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend."

"Always the best tasting food the best price and the largest quantity. Everything seems to be homemade. Can't say enough good things about this place. Family-owned family-run. UPDATE: after eating here at least 30 + times I can safely say this is the best Hidden Gem in all of Monroe County. Since they've opened is my number one place to go for breakfast or on Fridays for the unbeatable fish fry not only is it massive but it is the flakiest and best-tasting haddock I have ever had I prefer the breading because it is a very very tasteful."
